LARP stands for Live Action Role-Play; a form of game where the players act out mock-battles of stories. The LARPers pursue goals like becoming king of the realm while interacting with each other in character and in costume. The winners are decided by game rules or by vote. Game masters decide the setting and rules, and keep players from getting paper-cuts, wedgies, or duct-taped to trees.
